One Trimester Down

Two to go.

This trimester didn't go entirely as I expected. My grades fluctuated, my social interactions were bland but apparent (with the exception of now having a girlfriend and also a budding friendship with Matt Girard), and worst of all: I haven't written a single song. I blame it on AP Music Theory for being such a time consuming and difficult course that any more music would be overkill. One good thing, if anyone was wondering: Yes. I do sit at the senior table every day.

I'm sure you all miss it terribly.

I'm a little hesitant to mention that I'm hoping to be accepted to NYU on December 15th, Early Decision, since two posts ago I was giddy about being prefect and having a car and...well look how that turned out. But it has occupied a great deal of my time these last three months struggling to get my supplements and common app done, and since I've submitted it all I've been constantly logging onto NYU's website, hoping for anything to increase my chances.

This is bookmarked and visited as frequently as Facebook.

I was told by a friend here at Stevenson (with whom I've recently started watching 90210) that my blog needed more pictures for those viewers who are turned off but too much text. Maybe if he watched a little less 90210 he would be more up for reading. This is him.

How's that for a picture?

I'm gearing up for a very indulgent Thanksgiving vacation, 5 days with my lovely girlfriend, a few days of Macy's parade watching and turkey eating, and then to top it all off, a family trip to Disneyland. Judge all you want, but there's no place happier.

For now, things are good. Soon it will be time to see how I do in the cold, dark, winter days at Stevenson, and also if I'm accepted to NYU.

Until then, Happy Thanksgiving.
