I was not planning on beginning this blog until the Class of 2010 graduated; however, I felt it was important to recount my every emotion as they gear up to graduate. I chose today to begin my dorky blog as nearly every senior is away at the Warriors game (which I think is basketball but I'm not as sports savvy as Liz). Tonight I got a glimpse of what next year will be like.
It has been constantly brought to my attention that the seniors are graduating, with gracious comments from my peers such as "Addie, the shit's gonna hit the fan next year.", "Addie, what will you DO? All your friends are graduating!", and even "Addie, do you HAVE junior friends?" I can't even begin to explain how much I appreciate all these comments. (I also can't begin to explain how sarcastic that last sentence was.)
With a little over a month left until the seniors graduate, multiple SATs to take, the Spanish AP, shitty Physics grades to bring up, and a drastic need for a tan, I am getting pretty overwhelmed (also, someone just walked by and definitely noticed I'm blogging, which does not make me feel any better about my life right now). But I don't want to be a Debbie Downer or Negative Nancy or Anguished Addie. I am excited to visit as many of my graduating friends as possible next year at their colleges. Of course, I'll be a prefect and won't ever be able to go on pass, but I will have a car! Yes, next year's seniors will be head over heels thrilled to hop in my Honda Civic for a quick ride to DMC.
Well, I'm sure everyone reading this is a senior and has colleges to enroll in, friends to go out with on a school night, and other senior events to attend, so I'll keep my posts short.
Can't wait for the shit to hit the fan.
